The BKIT Companies have been the majority shareholders in TogliattiAzot (ToAZ) as trust managers for years. They consist of Bairiki Incorporated, of the British Virgin Islands; Kamara Ltd, of St Lucia; Instantania Holdings Ltd, of the British Virgin Islands; Trafalgar Trafhold Ltd, of St Lucia. ToAZ is one of the largest ammonia producers in Russia, consequently making it one of the highest valued companies in the world. This makes the fertilizer giant a target for raiders and corrupt businessmen that seek to gain control of its assets. In light of ToAZ being a victim of coporate raiding (aka reiderstvo) for the past two decades, the BKITs are now in a legal dispute to gain back full ownership of the company. Dmitry Mazepin and his associates are the parties behind the takeover. “Save ToAZ” is a public awareness campaign, created with the purpose of revealing the truth surrounding the unlawful takeover of TogliattiaAzot and the corruption taking place behind closed doors. The claims made by the Save ToAZ campaign are respectively supported by published news articles, academic studies and court rulings that provide further context and credibility to the described issues, as well as the need for a moral resolution in response to the immoral acts that have taken place thus far.
